	Mr Skidmore has 35 years experience as a consultant cancer and general surgeon and has worked in London and South East England since 1980. He has been a national committee member of the British Association of Surgical Oncology. He has provided more than 1450 major medicolegal reports for Solicitors, insurers, NHSLA, Coroners and the Health Ombudsman. He has expertise of civil and criminal court attendance.
Training	Mr Skidmore read Natural Sciences at Cambridge and Clinical Studies at Birmingham University Medical School. He subsequently worked in university hospitals in Birmingham, Cambridge, Edinburgh and Manchester (Christie Hospital), University College Hospital, London and in the USA.
